Yurt or Ger
This yurt is our full size specifically designed with transportation in minivan type vehicles in mind. This 15ft yurt uses all the same materials as our +18ft yurts and are constructed to the same high standards. The traditional design is time proven by nomads and has been enhanced with flame retardant materials and hardware that will last a lifetime. We use this style of yurt ourselves and in a rental fleet. Our first yurts are still in service and look new! This yurt will last for years of heavy use and stand up to even the most severe weather conditions.
Setup is possible by 2 people, but is easiest to setup with 2-3 people. The lattice opens up like a large 'baby-gate' and attaches to the door frame. A cable is placed on top of the lattice. The rafters are inserted to the ring, with the slotted tips placed on the cable forming the roof structure. Canvas walls and roof are attached and tied in place. Yurt are generally self standing structures, but can be anchored if desired. A roof flap covers the roof vent to keep out wet weather.

Not in the photos, but also included is a 12ft vinyl floor. Lightweight but very durable 9mil floor in black. This super ground cloth keeps the interior devoid of moisture and insects.

These yurts are available immediately. Local pickup is the most ideal way to get this item, so that I can show you how to setup the yurt. I will be glad to give written instructions and one on one instructions on setup and help you after purchase. If that isn't possible, shipping is to be paid by the buyer and will be quoted. You MUST CONTACT ME for a shipping quote if you want this item shipped by me. Buyers are welcome to arrange their own shipping or pick-up this item locally.
