This design is similar to the penta' planter with the exception that there's a little somethin'somethin extra going on inside. What you will find is a miniature version of the same piece, nestled into the top. You can place an air plant in one or both of the pieces, or leave it plain. Either way, this piece will make a great addition to your lovely decor family. @spazzhappylinedesign #spazzhappylinedesign @tifftutts

**** PLEASE READ BEFORE DECIDING WHAT MATERIAL TO ORDER ****
The materials I use are Aluminum, Copper, and Brass. COPPER may be poisonous to certain tillandsia, so you may want to select a different material if you plan to display an air plant. I've had no issues with the plants I display in copper pieces in my home, but I can't guarantee the success of your plant in a copper design.
Copper and Brass are also stronger metals, but they oxidize at a faster rate than Aluminum.
Aluminum- which looks silver, is a softer, more delicate metal, but will keep its original shine much longer.
**** CARING FOR METAL DESIGNS ****
Your item will arrive in bright condition, but over time it will oxidize.
To clean it, I recommend using a product called BRASSO (costs about $3), available at Home Depot, or gently scrubbing it with a steel wool (SOS) pad.
Using a soft cloth, you can gently clean the rods and restore much (if not all) of its original shine.
**** CARING FOR AIR PLANTS ****
One of the many, MaNy, MANY reasons I love air plants so much is because they are resilient and fairly easy to care for. I recommend consulting an expert on how to care for your particular air plant, but in the meantime, my suggestion is to submerge the plant in water from anywhere between 2 hours to over night, every 2 weeks or so. Then shake off the excess water, and lean on side to air dry so the remaining H2O doesn't drain into the root (because that promotes rotting). Once dry, return it to its happy home in the design you purchased from Spazz Happy Line Design!
